Charlton Athletic are still expecting to do more business before the transfer window closes, according to the South London Press.

The Addicks have stepped up their activity this week with a host of new faces arriving, including Freddie Ladapo from Ipswich Town on loan.

Michael Appleton is not about to stop though as he seeks to reshape the squad at the Valley to his liking.

The intention for Charlton is to bring in more fresh faces before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.

Charlton have had a disappointing season so far and sit just 13th in the League One standings.

Appleton’s men are a substantial 19 points off the final playoff spot.

The Addicks boss will hope that the new arrivals can quickly help to change that, with another 20 league fixtures still set to be played.

Charlton have not won a game in League One since the end of November and also crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of League Two outfit Gillingham.
