Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala does not want to leave the City Ground during this month’s transfer window.

Mangala has been heavily linked with departing Nottingham Forest this month as the club look at departures to balance the books.

He has admirers in Italy, where several Serie A sides would like to snap him up before the window closes, while Rennes are keen.

A move this month though is not something that Mangala wants, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The Belgian midfielder is determined to see out the season at Nottingham Forest.

Mangala, 25, joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2022 from German Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

He has clocked 19 appearances in the Premier League for the Tricky Trees so far this term, going into the referee’s notebook on six occasions.

Forest have Mangala locked down on a contract which runs until the summer of 2026 and it remains to be seen if a bid which tempts the Tricky Trees arrives before the window closes this month.
