Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil remains an option for Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and the Italian giants will consider signing him if he does not move imminently, it has been claimed in Italy.

Lazio are long-time admirers of the Spanish winger and tried to sign him last summer.

Gil was expected to move on, but Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou kept hold of him and he has been in and around the first team.

With little in the way of regular game time though it has been suggested that Gil could move on this month.

Several sides are keen on the winger and he could yet switch away from Tottenham before the window slams shut.

Lazio continue to be interested in Gil, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, and could make a move for him if he does not go elsewhere.

They are currently trying to sign Jack Clarke from Sunderland, but could come up short.

A move to Serie A with Lazio could be one which appeals to Gil this month, if Spurs play ball.
