Fulham are holding talks with the representatives of VfB Stuttgart winger Silas over potentially signing him on loan but the German club are unlikely to accept an offer.

Marco Silva wants to add to his attacking options before the transfer window shuts down tonight.

Fulham are reportedly trying to hijack Lyon’s pursuit of West Ham star Said Benrahma but the club also have other irons in the fire.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, the Cottagers are exploring trying to sign Stuttgart winger Silas on deadline day.

Fulham are holding direct talks with the player’s representatives over potentially taking him to Craven Cottage on a loan deal.

The Premier League side are also prepared to include a €15m option to buy, which would become a mandatory clause based on certain criteria.

Fulham are pushing his representatives to work out a deal to take Silas to west London in the final hours of the transfer window.

However, Stuttgart are unlikely to accept an offer for the Congo winger so late in the transfer window.
