Matz Sels is flying into England for a medical after Nottingham Forest reached an agreement over a fee with Strasbourg, according to the Daily Mail.

Forest are in the market for a new goalkeeper on deadline day and it became clear earlier today that Sels is their top target.

The Premier League club have been in talks with Strasbourg who have been prepared to accept their €7m offer.

The French club were waiting to bring in a replacement for sanctioning the Belgian’s exit and it seems all roadblocks towards a deal have been removed.

An agreement is now in place between Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg for Sels to join the Midlands club on deadline day today.

The goalkeeper is now flying into England where he will undergo a medical and sign a contract with Forest.

Matt Turner’s poor performances this season meant that Nottingham Forest were always looking to upgrade in the goalkeeping department.

The club are now on the verge of bringing in a solution in the form of Sels from Strasbourg on transfer deadline day.
