Chelsea are pricing Fulham target Armando Broja out of a loan move to Wolves despite changing their stance on the striker, according to the Express & Star.

The Blues have been keen to stick to a firm stance on Broja throughout the transfer window with a £50m fee wanted from suitors.

Now in the closing stages of the winter transfer window, Chelsea have changed their position and are prepared to accept simple loan offers.

However, the Blues are asking for a loan fee for Broja and want £5m.

Chelsea’s demands for the striker mean that a loan move to Wolves is currently off the table.

The Molineux club are not prepared to pay £5m just to sign Broja on loan for six months.

Broja has also attracted interest from other clubs, including Marco Silva’s Fulham, and it remains to be seen if Chelsea’s terms are acceptable to other teams.

Chelsea want to make sure Broja will play at whichever side he joins as they seek to protect his value.

He was an unused substitute last night at Anfield as Chelsea lost 4-1.
