Joe Worrall has issued a message to Nottingham Forest after completing a loan move to Turkish giants Besiktas.

The centre-back had been frozen out of the picture at Nottingham Forest and was the subject of interest from Leeds United and Sheffield United towards the end of the transfer window.

Neither club signed Worrall though and he has had to head to Turkey, where the transfer window is still open.

Worrall has put pen to paper to a loan deal with the Turkish side to boost their defensive options for the second half of the season.

He has now taken to social media to issue a message to Nottingham Forest.

Worrall wrote: “Best of luck to everyone involved at Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.

“Come on you reds!!!!”

Worrall will be hoping for a successful spell in Istanbul with Besiktas, who sit in third spot in the Super Lig standings but are effectively out of the title race as they are 24 points behind the top two, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
