Rangers boss Philippe Clement is clear that he knows the way to success and warned what would happen if his side lose their one game at a time focus.

The Gers booked their spot in the next round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday when they saw off Ayr United 2-0 at Ibrox.

While the Scottish Cup is a goal for Rangers, they are more focused on reclaiming the Scottish Premiership title from Celtic.

Clement’s men are three points behind Celtic in the league, but crucially have a game in hand and appear the more in-form team.

The Rangers boss is keen to make sure that his men retain focus and is clear that he knows the route to success and it is not through dreaming.

“It’s about just the next training to go full, the next game to go full and then step by step going closer to your goals”, Clement told a press conference.

“That’s the only way towards success.

“You can ask me this question a lot of times, but I know what the way to success is. That is the only way.

“People who start to dream they lose their focus and they lose the way towards their goal.”

Next up for Clement’s men to focus on is a visit to Ibrox from strugglers Ross County, who sit second bottom in the Scottish Premiership standings.
