Rangers legend Barry Ferguson has highlighted that there are no problems within the Gers squad despite Philippe Clement often making changes to the team.

A win by a three-goal margin over Ross County at home on Wednesday night would take Rangers to the top of the Scottish Premiership standings.

Clement did not shy away from making changes for the Scottish Cup clash against Ayr on Saturday but Rangers still ran out comfortable winners with a 2-0 scoreline.

The Rangers boss has been tinkering with the team over the last few weeks and Ferguson pointed out that the players have embraced it rather than resenting the changes.

He feels it has kept the Rangers players focused and fresh as they look to gun down Celtic at the summit of Scottish football in the latter half of the season.

The former Rangers captain said in the Go Radio Football Show: “He is very focused and the players are very focused.

“It’s a squad game, he makes changes, nobody is spitting their dummy out and they understand the situation they are in.

“It freshens the team up as well and he has done that pretty often since he has come in as manager.

“He has utilised the squad very well and they are a team that just understand the roles and responsibilities on the pitch.”

Clement is likely to make several changes to the team when Rangers take on Ross County on Wednesday night.
