Rangers star Tom Lawrence has revealed that Gers boss Philippe Clement has told him frequently not to turn down shooting opportunities.
The 30-year-old forward joined Rangers last season and missed the majority of his first campaign due to injury.
Under Clement, Lawrence has been a regular in recent games for Rangers but has yet to net a goal this season.
Lawrence admitted that he wants to feature in every game for Rangers but understands the importance of rotation.
The Rangers star revealed that Clement is constantly on at him to make sure he does not turn down opportunities to shoot, which he does too often.
Lawrence added that he is also aware that he needs to add more goals and assists to his game.
“We have a great squad in there so we know we need to rotate, obviously I want to play every game”, Lawrence said at a press conference.
“We are all professional in there and we know if we train well we can get selected for the next match.
“Playing well and winning games lifts everyone’s confidence.
“I’ve always liked shooting, the manager is on me a lot as I turn down shots more than I should be.
“I know I need to add goals and assists.”
Rangers are set to take on St. Johnstone at the weekend and Lawrence will be eager to find the back of the net on Sunday.
