Craig Moore has admitted that Celtic have more trophy-winning experience than Rangers, but feels Philippe Clement’s side are the ones moving in the right direction.

Rangers have swung the title race around in the last month and are now sitting at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings with a two-point lead over Celtic.

Philippe Clement’s men have already won the Scottish League Cup this season and are still involved in the Scottish Cup and the Europa League.

Celtic are the team that have experience of winning multiple trebles in recent history and Moore admitted that Rangers do lack that experience of collecting trophies.

However, the former Rangers star insisted that Clement’s side are the team who are looking like they are moving in the right direction at this stage of the season.

The Australian said on the Go Radio Football Show: “You have to argue that Rangers do not necessarily have huge experience of winning multiple trophies, but Celtic do.

“So, Rangers are in a new position.

“But they seem to be moving seamlessly in the right direction.”

Rangers have only won the league and the Scottish Cup once each in recent seasons.
