Sevilla star Loic Bade admits that Tottenham Hotspur showing interest in him gives him satisfaction, but the defender added that he sees himself being with the Spanish outfit next season.

The 23-year-old centre-back has been a constant in Sevilla’s defence this season and his performances have turned some heads.

It has been suggested that Bade has drawn attention from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, who are keen on signing a defender in the summer.

Bade, who is aware of Spurs’ interest in him, stated that it gives him satisfaction in his performances when a team like Tottenham show interest in him.

However, Bade admitted that he sees himself at Sevilla next year and added that he is doing well with the club and feels comfortable with the Spanish outfit.

“There is a little satisfaction. When a big club like Tottenham are interested, it’s because you do good things”, Bade said via Mundo Deportivo.

“But, on the other hand, there is something that tells you: relax; you have to work and concentrate on the games.

“I see myself here next year because I’m doing well.

“I like the city; I’m very well here.

“If I have to stay here for 20 years, I will. I’m very comfortable.”

Bade has a contract with Sevilla until June 2027 and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham will make a move for him in the summer, giving him a decision to make.
