Fleetwood Town boss Charlie Adam has revealed that he was present during Charlton Athletic’s game against Cheltenham Town and thinks that Nathan Jones’ side are high on confidence.
Jones has turned Charlton’s form around and they are now on a seven-game undefeated run in League One.
At the weekend, the English tactician will take his team to Lancashire to lock horns with Adam’s Fleetwood Town, who are also undefeated in their last five games.
Adam thinks that Jones’ arrival has given Charlton a bit of life back and he revealed that he watched the Addicks play against Cheltenham last week, where they played well.
The Fleetwood Town boss pointed out that Charlton will arrive at the Highbury Stadium full of confidence but he warned the Addicks that his team will have a go at them to win the game.
“We look forward to Charlton, coming here on a good run themselves”, Adam said on BBC Radio Lancashire.
“Nathan came into the building and he has given them a bit of life to where they are.
“I went to watch them at Cheltenham a couple of weeks ago and they played well and obviously won at the weekend, so their confidence is high.
“But we are at home and we have to make an impact on the match and we look to have a go and try to win the game.”
In September, when both sides met at the Valley, it was Charlton who came out victorious over Fleetwood with a 2-1 scoreline.
