Liverpool have been ‘impressed and bewitched’ by Atalanta’s Brazilian midfielder Ederson, with the Reds ‘now planning an attack’ to land him in the summer.

Ederson has caught the eye as part of a high-achieving Atalanta side and helped the Italians to win the Europa League this season.

The Brazilian, who has regularly been linked with Premier League sides this term, played in both his side’s games against Liverpool in the Europa League, giving the Reds an up close look.

Liverpool will back new boss Arne Slot in the summer and are advancing on their transfer plans.

And, according to Italian daily Tuttosport, Liverpool have been ‘impressed and bewitched’ by Ederson.

The Premier League giants are ‘now planning an attack’ in a bid to take the 24-year-old to Anfield this summer.

Liverpool have shown interest in another Atalanta star in the shape of Teun Koopmeiners, but it is Ederson they are now focused on.

Reds scouts have regularly been spotted at Atalanta’s games and the Brazilian midfielder is the man they are increasingly plotting to put at Slot’s disposal this summer.
