Manchester United are not interested in signing Everton-tracked Borussia Monchengladbach talent Winsley Boteli, it has been claimed in Germany.

The 17-year-old striker has been prolific in front of goal for Gladbach’s academy sides and has attracted interest from the Premier League.

Everton are amongst the clubs who are tracking him with a view to potentially signing him in the future.

Manchester United were also said to be interested in signing the attacker this summer, with suggestions that they have made contact with Boteli, but that has been played down.

According to German outlet fussball.news, Manchester United are not looking to sign Boteli in the ongoing transfer window.

It has been claimed that the forward is not on Manchester United’s radar for the moment and they have other priorities.

The Premier League giants are scouting young talents for other positions with Boteli not on their list at the moment.

Manchester United are focused on developing their academy striker Ethan Wheatly, who they believe has a high ceiling.
