Millwall have moved on from their interest in Reading attacker Femi Azeez after seeing an approach rebuffed, according to the South London Press.

The Lions are keen to make additions in the summer transfer window and were attracted to Azeez as an option.

Azeez made a whopping 52 appearances for Reading over the course of last term and Millwall saw enough to be keen.

The Championship side went in with a ‘tentative enquiry’ about signing Azeez, but Reading made clear he is not for sale.

Millwall have now moved on to other targets.

Whether they might try again for Azeez over the course of the window remains to be seen.

Azeez found the back of the net nine times for Reading last term and also chipped in with nine assists.

He scored twice in a win over Charlton Athletic in League One in February and on the final day of the regular season, against Blackpool, scored and provided an assist in a thrilling 3-2 win.
