Archie Gray is already making an impact at Tottenham Hotspur following his move from Leeds United and produced a tackle so strong this evening at Hearts it punctured the ball.
Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs are in pre-season action away at Scottish Premiership side Hearts tonight as they step up their preparations.
Gray, bought from Leeds earlier this summer, was handed a start in the friendly game, playing in defence.

He made an impact, instantly looking at home and producing a tackle so powerful it punctured the ball.
Tottenham following journalist Alasdair Gold wrote on X: “One Archie Gray tackle is so strong it punctures the ball.”
Spurs are also pleased with what they have seen from their new signing so far and posted a photograph of him with the caption: “It suits you, Archie.”
Gray will be looking to impress Postecoglou over the course of pre-season to put himself in the mix to start in Spurs’ first game of the season.
Selling Gray, an academy product with deep family links to the club, was hard for Leeds fans to stomach this summer.
