Aston Villa are all set to make a big sale with it only being a matter of time before an agreement is finalised.

The Villa Park side have just added Jaden Philogene to Unai Emery’s squad, beating off competition from Ipswich Town and Everton for his signature.

Now they are set to see a big money departure as Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are pushing to land Moussa Diaby.

Diaby has an agreement in place with the Saudi Arabian side and will put pen to paper to a five-year deal.

Talks are also happening with Aston Villa and, according to French radio station RMC, it is only a matter of time until Diaby makes the move.

An agreement between the two clubs is now almost complete.

Al-Ittihad will pay Aston Villa a fee of €55m, including bonuses, to take Diaby to the Saudi Pro League.

Aston Villa beat off competition from Saudi Arabia to sign Diaby last summer, but now just 12 months later he is on his way to the Kingdom.
