La Liga side Granada are closing in on signing a midfielder Norwich City have been interested in this summer.

The Canaries have been looking to sign players after losing Adam Idah to Celtic and Jonathan Rowe to Marseille, while Gabriel Sara joined Galatasaray.

Even though they have splashed big money on Croatian striker Ante Crnac they still want to add further attacking talents.

Canaries sporting director Ben Knapper has shown his ambitious interest in a Real Madrid attacking talent.

They have talked with Real Madrid attacker Reinier’s camp over a potential deal this summer.

However, according to Spanish programme El Chiringuito TV, La Liga outfit Granada are closing in on securing Reinier.

It has been suggested that the talks have advanced very well and Granada want to take him on a season-long loan.

Now it remains to be seen if Canaries will look at other targets by Friday night after missing out on Reinier.
