Belgian side Royal Antwerp are planning to submit an offer to Paris Saint Germain for Sunderland linked midfielder Ayman Kari.

The 19-year-old central midfielder spent last season on loan at Lorient, where he made 14 league appearances.

PSG have been willing to sell him this summer and Sunderland were credited with being prepared to make an offer for him just before the window closed.

No move to Sunderland happened for Kari, but the Black Cats look like not being able to secure him in the January window.

The PSG star has suitors in Belgium in the form of Royal Antwerp and they are keen on securing the signature of the player.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Antwerp are set to send a bid to PSG on Friday for Kari.

The Belgium transfer window is open until Friday, and they will be hoping to seal a deal with PSG before the window slams shut.

Kari has one more year left on his PSG contract and it remains to be seen whether the player will be willing to join the Belgium side by Friday.
