Leicester City loan star Harry Souttar has stated that his values regarding the culture of the club match those of Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder.
The 25-year-old centre-back joined Leicester in January 2023, but he failed to make his mark and establish a place in the starting line-up last season.
This summer he opted for a move away from Leicester for regular game time and joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan.
Souttar believes that Sheffield United have a really strong squad and stressed his intention to become part of the team and help by doing his job.
The Leicester star also revealed that he and the Blades boss share similar values regarding building a culture of the club and is confident that Sheffield United will have a successful campaign this season.
“I’m here to do a job and be a part of a team”, Souttar was quoted as saying by The Star.
“The culture the manager’s trying to build is not just 11 on the park, it’s the whole club and squad and my values are very much the same.
“I’ve not been in long but you can see the squad’s really talented and I think we can have a really successful season.”
Souttar has featured three games so far for Sheffield United this season and has picked up one caution.
