West Ham United boss Julen Lopetegui is at the Hammers’ training ground as usual today, despite it having been suggested he is close to the sack, according to the Sun.
The Spaniard was heavily backed in the summer by the Irons board with multiple big-money signings.
Lopetegui, however, has struggled to find consistency throughout the ongoing season as the London club have only managed to win six out of 20 league games.
They are currently 14th in the Premier League and Lopetegui’s position at the London Stadium is a major question marks.
It was suggested on Monday that Lopetegui’s time at the Irons is almost up as talks have been held with Graham Potter.
However, today, the Spaniard is present at West Ham’s training ground as usual.
Nothing has been formally agreed with the former Brighton and Chelsea boss, it has also been claimed.
The Hammers play Aston Villa in the FA Cup later this week and it remains to be seen if Lopetegui will be still in West Ham’s dugout by that time.
