Rangers have fielded interest in one of their players from a club in Spain’s La Liga, who have ‘asked about’ the Gers star.
Gers boss Philippe Clement will use this month’s transfer window to further put his stamp on the squad, despite there being heavy scrutiny of his position at Ibrox.
Inconsistency is plaguing Rangers, but there has been a bright spot in the shape of summer arrival Hamza Igamane.
Igamane’s exploits have pushed experienced striker Cyriel Dessers out of the team and he has been linked with a move to Italy as a result.
Now Dessers could have an option to head to Spain’s La Liga instead.
According to Spanish outlet Relevo, La Liga side Leganes have ‘asked about’ Dessers and his situation at Ibrox.
They are keen to look at the room to do a possible deal and what would be needed to take the striker to Spain this month.
Leganes sit in 16th spot in the Spanish top flight and just three points above the drop zone, meaning the Rangers striker would be walking into a relegation battle.
