France Football reports Lyon attacker Sidney Govou could be on his way out in the summer with fellow Ligue 1 side Paris Saint German in pole position to land the 30-year-old. Govou, who had been stripped of his captaincy due to excessive late-night activities, will be out of a contract in six months, and PSG are desperate to add the experienced attacker to their side.
Now at the twilight of his career, Govou seems set for a new challenge. And with disgruntled PSG attacker Ludovic Giuly reportedly looking for a way out, the Lyon winger will be brought in to replace the unhappy former Barcelona man. Giuly is said to be frustrated with his repeated substitutions at the hour-mark of matches, and is looking for a team that will fully appreciate his services.
Govou played for the Lyon youth team, and broke into the senior squad in 1999. He has played for the French giants ever since.
