Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure, who has had to settle for limited appearances this season, has been the centre of constant transfer speculation in the last few weeks. With his agent to blame for most of the rumours, Toure has finally spoken out on where his loyalties truly lie.

"Football here is lived in a very intense manner and is played very well,” he said to Catalan daily Sport. “I am happy at Barca and there is no bigger club then this. My only desire is to grow and help the club keep winning.”

These latest comments come just days after Barcelona’s sporting director assured Toure that he was firmly in the club’s plans for the future. Although playing second fiddle to Seydou Keita at the moment, the Ivorian 26-year-old looks all set to remain with the Catalan giants.
