Disgruntled Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Viera, who is heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, is even more likely to switch clubs after his manager Jose Mourinho claimed he was unlikely to remain with the Italian champions.

When asked about the chances of Viera staying at Inter, the outspoken Portuguese manager said in The Guardian, “Very little. But as long as he is with us, I trust his professionalism."

Man City are said to be interested in bringing the former Arsenal captain to Eastlands on loan until the end of the season. An offer of £150,000 a week is being put forward by the club, who are very interested in adding world-class talent in the centre of midfield.
