Juventus manager Ciro Ferrara has found himself in hot water again after being humiliated by league rivals AC Milan 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino on Sunday. The former Italy assistant, who took over from Claudio Ranieri in the final weeks of last season, has been suffering from a string of disappointing results dating back to November, with supporters growing tired of the 42-year-old’s inability to provide consistency.
Juventus have suffered six defeats and managed only three wins in their last ten games. This unfortunate run also includes the infamous 4-1 hammering at home that Bayern Munich heaped on them to eliminate the club from the Champions League. The latest loss to Milan has many believing it could be the final straw before management decides to axe him.
Calciomercato.com believes Russia manager Guus Hiddink is the favourite to take over for the under-fire Ferrara.
