Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic has once again moved to quash rumours he is set for a move away from Old Trafford. The Serbian has been linked with a move to several big clubs, with Real Madrid and AC Milan among those speculated to be interested in his services.
"I will repeat for the 100th time, my contract with Manchester is until the summer of 2012 and I want to stay in Old Trafford until the last day," Vidic said to Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti. "Only this is true, everything else is a baseless story. I have made a career in Manchester and I respect that fully. No one has contacted me and I have not spoken to anyone."
At the centre of speculation linking Vidic with a move away from the Premier League is the supposed displeasure of his wife with life in England.
