Liverpool and Manchester City played out a goalless draw in the highly-anticipated clash for fourth spot on Sunday. Despite The Reds failing to recapture the coveted final place for Champions League qualification, manager Rafael Benitez was delighted with the return to fitness of influential duo Fernando Torres and Yossi Benayoun.

"I was really pleased to have Fernando and Yossi back and that is a big positive to take from today,” Benitez said to the club’s official website. "They have been really important players for us in the past and hopefully they can be really important in the future too. Both of them can make a difference in games."

Tottenham are now in fourth place in the Premier League standings, after thumping Wigan 3-0 at the weekend, with Aston Villa now just a point away as well after their impressive victory over Burnley.
