At just 23-years-old, Sergio Ramos notched up his 200th appearance for Real Madrid in Los Blancos’ 6-2 drubbing of Villarreal at the weekend. The Spain defender transferred from Sevilla in 2005 for €27M and has been a regular in the Real side ever since.

Two hundred games… That’s easy to say. It seems like it was just yesterday when I got here,” Ramos said in the club’s official website. “I am proud of making Real Madrid history. It isn’t easy, especially at such a great club. My goal is to play more games and win titles with this team."

Ramos has racked up an impressive number of various individual and team accolades, including a couple of La Liga titles and being part of 2008’s FIFA.com and UEFA teams of the year.
