Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has been in admirable form again this season, and is currently on a run of six clean sheets in his last nine matches. The Spanish shot stopper has been so impressive this campaign, that Kop icon Alan Hansen, has labelled him the club’s Player of the Year.

"Reina has been brilliant all season and is without a shadow of a doubt Liverpool’s player of the year," Hansen told LFC Weekly. "The great thing about him is his total and utter reliability. If you asked me what I’d want in a goalkeeper playing behind me at Liverpool, that would be what I’m looking for – total and utter reliability.”

The 27-year-old Reina is also in the running to win his fourth Premier League Golden Gloves award.
