There is massive pressure on Theo Walcott to come through and deliver in the second half of the season after recovering from his troubling injury problems. Many forget however, that despite the Arsenal youngster’s phenomenal ability, he is still just 20-years-old. With his involvement in the 2006 World Cup, and his hat-trick against Croatia in 2008, the former Southampton gem is expected to carry a certain burden for club and country. With all his success already, it makes it interesting that he had no interest in the sport of football as a kid to begin with.

I wasn’t interested in football,” he explained on Fifa.com. “I didn’t watch it on television and didn’t play in the street. One day I just went along to a training club hoping to enjoy myself. I didn’t know I’d be any good.”

Walcott is suffering from his most frustrating season to date as he is only now getting an extended run in the squad due to fitness problems
