Manager Arsene Wenger believes his side are now the new kings of late goals after Nicklas Bendtner snatched a dramatic injury-time winner against Hull City at the weekend.

“Manchester United used to score late, yes,” Wenger said on the club’s official website. “I believe that this season nobody has scored more than Arsenal in the last 15 minutes. Maybe it is down to a technical superiority and a never-give-up attitude. That is what I like in my team. When I see them on the pitch, I know they will not give up.”

With their latest win, The Gunners remain in touch with leaders Man Utd, who are ahead by only two points. Arsenal next face West Ham at the weekend as their push for the title continues.
