Eidur Gudjohnsen has proven to be a revelation since his loan move from Monaco in the January transfer window. The former Chelsea and Barcelona player was in particularly impressive form in Tottenham Hotspur’s latest victory over Stoke City where he scored one and set up another.

"I was very pleased with my goal, but even more pleased with the result," said Gujohnsen on the club’s official website. "It’s not an easy place to get a result and people have their opinions on how Stoke play, but you have to deal with it. It’s sets us up nicely," he added. "It was a great win at Stoke but there is no time for us to relax because we want to be in the semi-finals of the FA Cup."

Spurs face Fulham tomorrow night in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
