Manchester City will have to continue their push for Champions League qualification without the services of English defensive duo Wayne Bridge and Joleon Lescott in the next few weeks, with the latter just recently being ruled out with a hamstring injury. Although the former Everton man could return before the end of the season, he will definitely be out for key matches against Everton and Manchester United.

I think there is a good chance that Joleon could play in the last two weeks of the season,” manager Roberto Mancini said on the club’s official website. “Javi (Javier Garrido) played well at Fulham but we may need a few players to come into the side. To lose Wayne and now Joleon like this is bad news, and I think we’re a bit unlucky, but that’s football."

Man City could find themselves in fourth spot tonight, should they overcome visiting Everton tonight.
