Arsene Wenger has impressively guided his side to within two points of the Premier League summit, but insists Arsenal still have plenty of work to do with only seven games left. The French tactician is delighted to be in such a position, but is now challenging his boys to focus and deliver a perfect finish to the season.

There are three teams in the race and it is down to the team who are the most consistent,” Wenger said on the league’s official website. “We can only focus on our own performances. We know our route has to be perfect. To be perfect it is important we focus on our performances.”

Arsenal have remained unbeaten since losing to Chelsea in early February, a run that Wenger has attributed to his side’s remarkable character to prove doubters wrong.
