Ahead of facing Real Madrid in the Madrid derby on Sunday evening – read the match preview here – , Atletico Madrid man Jose Antonio Reyes has declared that his team do not fear Cristiano Ronaldo or Gonzalo Higuain, despite the duo being in red-hot goalscoring form.
Reyes, who enjoyed a brief spell with Real Madrid in the 2006/07 season told Madrid based daily Marca: "We respect everyone, but fear neither Higuain or Cristiano Ronaldo."
Atletico have not enjoyed the best of records against their fierce rivals in recent times and must be mindful of the fact that both Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo are in fantastic form and fresh off a 4-2 midweek victory over Getafe. In that game the duo shared the four goal haul.
Reyes himself is hoping for: "a derby of Kings, and above all for Atletico."
