According to French paper L ‘Equipe, Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi will not be renewing his contract with the Bundesliga club, and will be on his way out at the end of the season. The 28-year-old Brazilian-born German footballer, is believed to be receiving serious interest from Russia’s Dynamo Moscow and Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The former Stuttgart player has been in impressive form this season, scoring 20 goals in 32 matches so far for his club, a tally that has forced Germany manager Joachim Low, to rethink his decision to permanently axe the striker from the national team.

Kuranyi’s impressive season has helped propel Schalke to within touching distance of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, who are holding a slim two-point advantage with three games left in the league.
