Champions League holders Barcelona were stunned by Inter Milan at the San Siro last night, a defeat that sees the Catalan giants return home for the second leg of the semi-finals with a two-goal disadvantage. Manager Josep Guardiola was undoubtedly disappointed at the result of the match, but has chosen to focus on how the culminating game of the tie will be different.

I’m sure the fans will all be there and we will make those 90 minutes last a long time for Inter,” the second-year boss said on the club’s official website. “We will look at what we can do better and really prepare the second leg. I’m proud of how the players behaved tonight.”

Barcelona will have to dig deep to try and overturn the huge deficit against an improved Inter, knowing that anything but a win by at least a two-goal margin, will keep the club from being the first ever to defend the Champions League title.
