Morten Gamst Pedersen, who once looked certain to end his six-year stint with Blackburn Rovers after he found appearances increasingly difficult to come by earlier in the season, is now looking likely to remain with the club, having regained the confidence of manager Sam Allardyce.

Things are positive between the club and Morten, but there are still these little details to sort out. The little details are often the big things," Pedersen’s agent said on the league’s official website. "He is enjoying his football at Blackburn and he is enjoying the new midfield role he is playing.”

The 28-year-old joined Rovers back in 2004 and has proven to be vital piece in Blackburn’s ability to remain in England’s top flight over the years. He is also showcasing his versatility this year, adapting to a new attacking midfield role with great success.
