Blackburn Rovers ensured their fans enjoyed the team’s last home game of the season, when they came from behind to triumph over Arsenal 2-1 yesterday. Manager of the Gunners, Arsene Wenger, felt his young keeper Lukasz Fabianski was unfairly treated by opposition players in the match.

I think it was a foul on both goals. There is no purpose to play the ball from the Blackburn players,” Wenger exclaimed on the club’s official website. “Every time it’s to stop the keeper from getting to the ball. And in football when you don’t go for the ball, when you stop your opponent, the keeper, from going for the ball it’s a foul.”

The win puts Blackburn in the top half of the Premier League standings, with only one game left to play.
