According to tuttomercatoweb.com, Chelsea will face a near impossible task in trying to persuade AC Milan to sell their star talent Pato in the summer. These reports emerged after news earlier in the week claimed that manager Carlo Ancelotti, who was once boss of the Italian giants, had earmarked the young Brazilian, along with countryman Thiago Silva, as his prime transfer targets in the summer.

With Milan looking set to comfortably qualify for the Champions League next year, the club are free from the need of dispensing their best players for the sake of financial stability.

It remains to be seen however, if AC Milan will be able to resist a massive bid for Pato from a Chelsea side with plenty of excess finances to spare for transfers.
