Chelsea have shown to be a tougher side this season, as they completed an impressive six wins out six against the other “big four” teams in the Premier League. Aside from the team’s improved quality against top clubs, goalkeeper Petr Cech believes the Blues’ resilience has been key in the campaign as well.

We are confident and we know that we shouldn’t lose two games in a row," said the Czech shot-stopper. "We know that when something goes wrong, we always want to put it right the next game and so far it has worked well. We have won all of those big games home and away,” he continued. “Last season, before the change of the manager, we gave points to our rivals."

Chelsea, who face Wigan Athletic at the weekend, are now just one win away from clinching their first league title since 2006.
