According to L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain youngster Mamadou Sakho is reportedly being tracked by German giants Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga side are understood to be interested in adding reinforcements to their backline, and the France Under-21 captain has been pinpointed as the main target.

Sakho, who has been likened to French legend Liliam Thuram, is still under contract with his current club until 2015, but such is the interest from Bayern, that the 20-year-old’s future at PSG is looking likely to end sooner rather than later.

The young defender is also believed to be desperate to experience Champions League football, an opportunity that will certainly be available to him should he join the German heavyweights in the summer.
