Valenciennes three-year veteran Johan Audel has confirmed that he will leave his club in the summer in search for a bigger challenge. The striker scored 7 goals and made four assists to help his side to a mid-table finish in Ligue 1, and is now ready for a new experience.
According to L’Equipe, Audel, who joined minnows Valenciennes from Nice in 2007, has claimed to be in contact with “Some French and foreign clubs” over the possible transfer of the French striker.
The 26-year-old is believed to be hoping to make the step up to the Premier League, but is understood to be willing to settle to remain in Ligue 1 should he find a club that will offer him a favourable deal.
