With Jose Mourinho being linked with a possible move to Real Madrid, Spanish paper Marca reports rumours are circulating that Frank Lampard has been included in the Madrid club’s list of summer transfer targets.

The English international has a wonderful relationship with Mourinho, as the two enjoyed a successful time together at Chelsea. The former Porto boss guided the Blues to their most successful period in the club’s history. Such is their bond, that Lampard was believed to have almost signed for Inter Milan when the Portuguese tactician signed for the Nerazzurri in 2008.

Real heads Jorge Valdano and Florentino Perez have also shown intent to sign Lampard in the past, and could now be set to realize an old ambition.
