While much of the talk before the Champions League final has centred on Inter’s attempts to add the trophy to their collection to complete a treble, Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic has reminded the press that the German side may also be going for a treble. Due to meet Werder Bremen in the German Cup final tonight (kick-off 20:00 CET), Bayern could make it a domestic double should they see off the challengers.

"We want not just one trophy", said Olic, "but all three!"

"This is an opportunity which does not occur very often in life, but it will not be easy", warned the Croatian striker.

Olic has had a fine season at the Allianz Arena and attracted interest from all across Europe. Should Bayern Munich lift the German Cup this evening, then both teams that contest the Champions League final will be aiming for that rare feat, a treble of trophies.
