Tim Cahill has got his wish, as he agreed terms with Everton over a new long-term deal that will see him at the club for the next four years. The Australian international had earlier expressed his desire to end his football career with the Toffees, and the team’s management were more than happy to oblige.

The influential midfielder has been a massive player for David Moyes’ side since his transfer from Millwall in 2004, proving to be steady source of goals to supplement the team’s frontline. Cahill netted ten times this season, bringing his average to roughly nine goals per campaign.

With a knack for scoring vital goals for Everton, the Blues’ supporters will be delighted to have the talismanic Australian around for the next four years.
