Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has been linked with a return to Barcelona for some time now, but it seems the moment has come where he will finally turn his back on manager Arsene Wenger and the rest of the Gunners. According to Catalan daily Sport, the player has expressed his desire to return to Spain, and will do what it takes to help the transfer push through.

Currently negotiations for the players transfer are stalled, as Arsenal continue to hold out for a price they feel is fair for the phenomenal midfielder. It is believed however, that Fabregas is getting frustrated with the clubs intentions to hold on to him after failing to live up to their promise of more success.

Sport claims the 23-year-old was convinced to stay last summer, after Wenger claimed that Arsenal would be winning silverware. After another trophy-less season however, Fabregas is fed up, and will play his part in trying to finalise a transfer to his boyhood club.
