Whilst Jose Mourinho has not yet been officially confirmed as the new Real Madrid coach, it seems in his mind the Portuguese is already at the Bernabeu. All that remains is for Inter president Massimo Moratti to sanction his departure.
Spanish paper Sport reports that Real Madrid and Mourinho are simply waiting for Moratti to accept the proposed compensation package, thought to be worth about €16M. For Mourinho though there is no going back.
Asked whether it would be possible for him to continue coaching in Milan, Mourinho replied, "It's impossible, impossible."
Mourinho is currently on holiday and is hoping that by the time his break ends a switch to Real Madrid will have been wrapped up.
